Generation Fear...A DVD for all Haunters!!!
This interview was conducted by Rotting Flesh Radio's NECROMAGIKAL..courtesy of Ghostdroppings.com

You haunt your yards, you scare at an attraction, and perhaps you are wealthy enough to actually own a professional haunt. You still wish you haunted in the movies. You know it's true. We can all dream I suppose. Well the lucky haunters of "Spider's Prey Ground", "Dripping Screams", and "The Factory Haunt" will at least make the independent film industry. The upcoming film "Generation Fear" is a "hauntumentary" if you will, about the running of three haunted houses. The film follows the lives of these three haunted house owners and chronicles their attempt to successfully plan, prepare, and scare with their haunted houses during the Halloween season.
The documentary, in a general sense, deals with the phenomena of haunting and, as a victim, being haunted in an attraction. The film attempts to answer questions such as why we like to be scared in haunted houses and what it takes to work behind the scenes.
We will be bringing you an inside look as Rotting Flesh Radio had a preview screening of Generation Fear and also the Britannia Manor DVD...We will bring you full reviews of those very soon. Enjoy the Interview.
1. What was the initial inspiration for Generation Fear?
Patrick and I both met while working at a Haunted House in Austin, TX. Our inspiration was all the behind the scenes drama and hard work that go into making these seasonal businesses so successfull.
2. What is the latest news on its release?
We have almost finished capturing and reviewing tape and hope to have a trailer out by this Halloween with the full release coming in 2007.
3. What was your best and worst experience with the film?
I think the interesting people we met was the best experience and all the people we interacted with and filmed. The worst experience for me was having our camera case and battery stolen at a Haunted House Rave I was filming.
4 . Are you involved in the Haunt industry and if so how?
Patrick and I are both lifelong haunters and own Steve The Bum Productions. We are Texas' leading production studio with a penchant for frightening subject matter and dark design. Our services range from Film and Video production, Commercial Production and DVD Authoring to Web Design and Marketing/Public Relation Consulting.
5. What led you to choose those three specific haunts in your film?
Dumb luck = ) and knowing local business owners.
6. What scares you the most when going in a haunted attraction?
Not sure for Patrick but for me it would be live animals. And yes some of the people we interviewed used live animals in their Haunted Attractions....
7. What's your next project going to be?
Whew. I don't even want to think about that yet!
