More Info About Rob Zombie's Great American Nightmare

"The first year was such a blast. I am thrilled to be able to take the Great American Nightmare to a Scottsdale this year," said Zombie. "My only goal is to make it even sicker than last year."Great American Nightmare is a fully immersive haunted house experience featuring three attractions based on Rob Zombies own horror films: The Lords Of Salem In Total Black Out, Captain Spauldings Clown School In 3D, and The Devils Rejects. The shocking--and sometimes disturbing--attractions will offer a three-dimensional experience with animatronics and effects, a maze that is the ultimate definition of claustrophobia and fear, sudden chills and startling thrills, and salacious humor that will make patrons scream with fright and laughter. At Rob Zombies Great American Nightmare, patrons will sequentially enter three different attractions: The Lords Of Salem In Total Black Out: This harrowing attraction--based on Zombies 2012 The Lords Of Salem independent horror film--is designed to twist the mind. It will accentuate some senses while limiting others. Fear of the darkness, claustrophobia, and fear of the unknown will be preyed on as visitors attempt to traverse this sixty-degree maze.Captain Spauldings Clown School In 3D: This irreverent school of pure terror is a hallucinogenic trip through the mind of Captain Spaulding (House Of 1000 Corpses, The Devils Rejects). Startle after startle will thoroughly frighten the bravest patrons, who wont know if they should be laughing, screaming or crying. The Devils Rejects: The murderous, backwoods Firefly family takes to the road to escape a vengeful police force that isn't afraid of being as ruthless as its target. Guests will become part of the state troopers search and destroy mission against the Firefly family, who are wanted for over 75 homicides and disappearances. In addition, the Great American Nightmares Bloody Boulevard will feature freak shows, musical entertainment, roaming characters, themed food and beverages, games and vendors each night.
