message but are not able to send a message
to anyone on your list. You collect email
address via input form on your web pages.

Creating Your Own Mailing List
You have two viable options:
(1)
Hire a Mail List Distribution Service
(third-party vendor).
This can range from $10 - $30 a month
for the service. Other than forking out
the cash monthly, there is a minimal
effort needed on your part. The more
popular services are Mail-List or SparkList.
(2) Use a Free Mailing List
Script.
If you have cgi-bin access, you can
easily install a free prewritten
mailing list (Perl) script on your
site's server. This is what I do for
all my sites and I pay NO monthly fees.
When I'm ready to send out an email, I
merely paste my announcement message
into the script's control panel and
click "SEND." Within a few seconds, it
begins distributing the email message
to my entire list.

before, both are not too difficult to
install. Be sure to review the Read Me
file included with the download file.
You'll need to set up the script with
the proper directory structure, then
set permissions. Once completed, just
add the form code to any web pages you
want and you're good to go!
